Solve Copyright Strike Issue

So Zebracat had a similar issue. They implemented a record/download text file so you can contest any music they provide from pexels etc. Basically you would copy and paste the information when you contest the copyright. Seems someone went and tried to copyright a bunch of music from pexel etc or created similar tracks and is trying to cash in.

Phillip - yes, pretty stupid, yet they are winning. They took over monitization of my videos. And I told youtube where i got the audio from and they sided with the person claiming to own the music.

Jonathan Evans Dang. That's annoying. I had one of those copyright some work with a channel we work with before and they still fought it saying they weren't going to drop it (channel we work with is monetized). So they (channel we work with) did the petty thing and just erased the video, reuploaded the modified version and then that channel we work with blasted them on social (on how they have no right to claim etc.) that seemed to work on the next video we used the track on got no claim. But that was like a year or 2 ago. We use the licensed audio or own audio now whenever possible just to avoid headaches. The times we don't if it comes up we approach it the usual way of copy and paste links showing where, what and why we have permission. I would say since then we have only encountered 1 other time with a claimant that refused to drop it so we just trimmed that part out and the video stayed monetized.
